The Battle of Sekigahara took place on the 21st October 1600, between the clans of eastern Japan loyal to Tokogawa Ieyasu & the clans of western japan loyal to Toyotomi Hideyori under the command of Ishida Mitsunari. It is the greatest Samurai battle in japanese history, in wich Tokugawa Ieyasu emerged victorious & later on became SHOGUN.

2006年に放送された「功名が辻」のメインテーマ。これ、1度聴いただけで大ファンになったのですが、演奏は相当てこずりました。イントロが難しいし、Aメロからの左手の旋律が厄介だし。59秒からは8分の7拍子と8分の6拍子が混ざる変拍子で拍が捉えにくくて。転調も数回あり。自分では一曲入魂！ってつもりで弾いたハズなのですが、こうして見てみるとややビビり気味。ベースの踏み間違いなどありますがスルーで。2009/07/27録音。
